Tuesday, May 5 began a course organized by the Committee of beer Dealers Pinewood Gravellona Toce.
at the public library Gravellona Toce took a very interesting lecture on the history of beer with a tasting of three beers from the past.
Twelve are enrolled in the course, with particular interest that have interacted with the teacher of the brewery David Bertinotti.
Three very specific tastes, different, unusual and decided. After the explanations
started the tasting ... the start was "shocking" with a Guez Cantillon, a craft beer taste sour, it is then passed to a beer, Nora Baladin (Egyptian beer) with a hint of myrrh and frankincense, finishing with a Rauchbier Shenkar, a beer-tasting smoked.
Next Tuesday is always provided another lesson in the Library at 21.00.
The May 12 was held another "delicious" evening with David Bertinotti explanation of the teacher, followed by tasting other beers: Budweiser Budvar, CONISTON XB Bitter, RICHEFORT 8th, taste these beers also decided greatly appreciated by the subscribers to the course.
The teacher explained the different ways of brewing craft, carrying also a Trappist beer aftertaste of cocoa.
Towards the end of the evening one of the members brought a taste of craft beer produced in the same house, using the homebrew kit.

Wednesday, May 27 was held last evening at the tasting bar and grill Gravellona Toce, a number of the speakers and the great hospitality of the owner of the Bar, Paola, who has for the exclusive use of the course, the room the lower floor of his bar, offering sausage and dairy products to match the beers already tasted on the evening of May 12, the Bakery "Bread" were offered pizza pies and vegetables to go with home-produced beers crafted by Marco Brusa Antonini, owner of one of the shops of members of the board Pineta Committee, who explained the exact way to produce its beer (much appreciated by the subscribers to the course), proposing changes to give more character to the beers produced in kit form, such as water, the addition of honey. .....
